VIRTUAL VOICES: A Public Speaking Course
Although physical face-to-face engagement may not be happening as often these
days, it is still crucial for students to learn to use their voices whether that be
through writing or orally. In this 6-week course, we will work together on speech
writing and delivery through our virtual classroom. Students will craft and present 2
speeches, an informative speech and a persuasive speech. We will
discuss/demonstrate key speech components such as articulation, voice projection,
voice tone, personality, pacing and choosing an engaging topic.
*Class is open to all genders*

Required Materials: laptop/tablet for zoom and online activities.
